ALERT: New Phishing Scam Circulating

A new email phishing scam is circulating that claims a security upgrade was made to your mail service and in order to apply the new settings you must click a link.

If you received such an e-mail, do not respond to the message and do not click on any links that may be included.

If you inadvertently responded to, or clicked the link in the e-mail, please contact Jub Jub Customer Support for assistance at 714-586-8500, option 1.

Here are a few details about the fraudulent e-mail to help you identify the scam.

The subject of the email may be:

For the owner of the [yourname@yourdomain.com] mailbox

OR

A new settings file for the [yourname@yourdomain.com] mailbox

The message body may be similar to:

Dear user of the [yourdomain.com] mailing service!

We are informing you that because of the security upgrade of the mailing service your mailbox ([yourname@yourdomain.com]) settings were changed. In order to apply the new set of settings click on the following link:

[link redacted]

Best regards, [yourdomain.com] Technical Support.
