To: All Jub Jub Windows Hosting Customers
Server Maintenance Window: Beginning at 10:00 AM PDT, August 28, 2010 and ending by 11:00 AM PDT, August 28, 2010
Anticipated Service Downtime: Not to exceed 30 sequential minutes total during the upgrade window
Jub Jub will be conducting scheduled e-mail server maintenace Saturday morning (August 28, 2010). If your company's e-mail is NOT hosted by Jub Jub (e.g. onsite server or other third-party service), this maintenance WILL NOT affect your e-mail service.
During this maintenance window, we will be making e-mail software upgrades to our Windows e-mail system. Several moments of service downtime will be necessary in order to make these improvements.
Access to your mailbox will be temporarily interrupted during the maintenance window. Messages received during the upgrade window will be available as soon as the upgrades are complete.
After the upgrade is complete, we will send a follow-up announcement that explains all of the new features and improved functionality. In the meantime, here are a few highlights of our new e-mail system.
- Enhanced Security (better antispam measures, SSL/TLS support)
- Improved WebMail Interface (drap and drop, right mouse click support)
- Outlook Synchronization (two-way syncing without third-party addon)
- Optional Collaboration (shared calendars, contacts, tasks, & notes)
- Optional Message Archiving for Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance
