NOTE: For ease of configuration, it is important that the appropriate CalDAV and CardDAV SRV records are created for your domain within DNS. Without these records, the Mac is unable to auto-discover the correct server settings. If you're not sure these records have been created, please open a support ticket by e-mailing support@jubjub.com or calling 714-586-8500, option 1.
CalDAV for iCal
Follow these steps to setup iCal synching using CalDAV:
1. Go to System Preferences...
2. Click Mail, Contacts & Calendars
3. From the list of account types, click Add Other Account...
4. Select Add a CalDAV account and click Create...
5. Enter your username, password, and server address in the appropriate fields.
- The username is your full e-mail address (e.g. name@mydomain.com).
- The password is the corresponding password for the e-mail address.
- The server name is mail1.jubjub.net/WebDAV
7. The default account description is the server name, enter a new name in the Description field if you choose.
Your account is now setup. You can view your new calendar by opening iCal.
CardDAV for Address Book
Follow these steps to setup Address Book synching using CardDAV:
1. Go to System Preferences...
2. Click Mail, Contacts & Calendars
3. From the list of account types, click Add Other Account...
4. Select Add a CardDAV account and click Create...
5. Enter your username, password, and server address in the appropriate fields.
- The username is your full e-mail address (e.g. name@mydomain.com).
- The password is the corresponding password for the e-mail address.
- The server name is mail1.jubjub.net/WebDAV
7. The default account description is the server name, enter a new name in the Description field if you choose.
Your account is now setup. You can view your new contacts by opening Address Book.
NOTE: Address Book uses vCard 3.0 and will need to be switched to vCard 2.1. To do this, go to Preferences, select the vCard tab, and switch to vCard 2.1.
